Job Description

Emumba is seeking an experienced AWS GenAI Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in building Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications and experience in fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs). This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy AI-driven solutions on the AWS platform.

Key Responsibilities

  1.  RAG Application Development:
    • Utilize Langchain and Amazon Bedrock to develop RAG applications for question-answering tasks.
    • Implement retrieval-based methods to gather relevant data and generation-based methods to craft responses.
  2.  LLM Fine-Tuning:
    • Fine-tune large language models (LLMs) using Amazon Bedrock leveraging state-of-the-art techniques and frameworks.
    • Utilize platforms like OpenAI, Langchain, and AWS AI/ML services to optimize LLM performance for GenAI workloads.
    • Build Q&A agents tailored to business-specific problems.
  3.  AWS Integration:
    • Develop and deploy AI solutions on the AWS platform, leveraging services such as Amazon Q, S3, Redshift, EC2, Lambda, OpenSearch Service, Document DB, and Bedrock.
  4.  Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers and DevOps engineers to integrate AI solutions into existing systems.
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical expertise.
 

Skills, Qualifications, Education & Experience

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Python programming language.
  • Strong understanding of the AWS ecosystem.
  • Good understanding of AWS GenAI services, such as Amazon Q, S3, Redshift, EC2, Lambda, OpenSearch Service, Document DB, and Bedrock.
  • Experience with fine-tuning LLMs and building conversational AI applications is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with microservices/serverless architectures.
  • Knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn is a plus.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of software development experience, focusing on AI or machine learning applications.
  • Previous experience working with RAG applications and/or fine-tuning LLMs is a plus.
